These terms apply to your use of collectionplacement.com and the matching service we provide. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to them.
What we do
CollectionPlacement is a free matching service for creditors. We review the information you give us and may introduce you to independent collection agencies or collection law firms. You decide whether to work with any of them, and any agreement you make is between you and that agency or firm. We may receive compensation from agencies we introduce.
What we don't do
- We are not a collection agency or a law firm. We don't collect debts, contact debtors, or represent you.
- We don't give legal advice. Guides, templates and other content on this site are general information only. Talk to a licensed attorney about your situation.
- We don't buy debt.
- We don't guarantee results. We don't guarantee that we'll find a match, that any agency or firm will accept your accounts, or that any amount will be recovered.
Agencies and law firms we introduce
The agencies and law firms we introduce are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own services, fees, licensing and compliance with the law. Check their credentials, licensing and terms before you place accounts. We aren't responsible for their acts or omissions.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information, have the right to share it, and don't send us sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers or patient health information. Don't misuse the site, for example by submitting false requests or trying to interfere with it.
Templates and content
You may use our templates for your own business. They're provided as-is, without any warranty, and may not suit your situation or comply with every state's rules. Have them reviewed by an attorney before relying on them.
No warranties
The site and the service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CollectionPlacement won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue or unrecovered debts, arising from your use of the site or the service or from any agency or law firm we introduce. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the service won't exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). These limits don't apply to liability for our fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any liability that can't be limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including sharing your details with matched agencies and law firms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date we post it on this page.
